Friends is a non-profit organization of volunteers who
believe in the value of the public library and work to enhance its
services through fundraisers, raising public awareness, and generally
supporting the library. To put it another way, FOL members are
"cheerleaders" for the Library, drumming up support and keeping people
involved.
