Friends Of The Mount Rainier Library

To build a partnership between the library and the community to improve the variety and quality of services for the library's service area, which includes the Gateway towns Mount Rainier, Brentwood, North Brentwood and other neighboring communities.

PURPOSE
to maintain an association of persons interested in the library
to focus public attention in a positive manner on library services, facilities, and needs
to help promote use and enjoyment of the library
to develop funding for a new library facility
to develop funding for ongoing programs at the library
to help support tourism and economic revitalization
to support and complement programs of the local schools
to actively support and supplement the programs of the Prince George's County Memorial Library System in the local community
