Friends Of The Londonderry Leach Library

Mission Statement
To build a partnership between the Leach Library and the Londonderry community by facilitating activities that will enhance the library's role as a creative center of community life.

Purpose
To raise awareness in the community about library services and needs, promote public knowledge of library resources, services and programs, and raise much-needed funds through events to supplement library services and collections. Friends fundraisers have provided Christmas trees for the holiday season, over 70 DVDs for general circulation, sponsorship of adult evening lectures and Children's Room programs, a VHS/DVD player for the library, and Summer Reading program prizes.
