About

The Friends of the Library of Windham are currently looking for volunteers to help plan and organize this year’s Strawberry Festival. The Strawberry Festival is F.L.O.W.’s primary fundraising event of the year. Funds raised go toward library improvements and programs, scholarships, museum passes, and events.

We are in the process of forming this year’s Strawberry Festival Planning Committee for this enormous event, and now we need you! Volunteers are critical to ensuring the event’s success. We would like to thank all those who volunteered in the past to make the day such a huge success! We hope you’ll be available to help out again this year. For those who are new in town and those would like to get involved, this is the perfect event. Ask anyone that volunteers for the Strawberry Festival and they’ll tell you that it is a lot of fun. Bring your ideas to the first meeting on Wednesday, November 15th at 6:30pm at the Nesmith Library. The committee will meet monthly starting after the 1st of the year.

We are a non-profit corporation made up of volunteers dedicated to encouraging greater use of the Nesmith Library and its many services. Since 1966, we have been providing programs and services as well as books and equipment to the library.
