Friends Of The Irmo Branch Library

Friends of The Irmo Library is a voluntary organization of citizens whose mission is to promote the Irmo Branch and encourage gifts, donations and bequests toward its financial support. Friends serve as volunteers within the library and ambassadors within the community. Revenue generated through membership dues, annual book sales, the on-site Friend's Shop and other fund raising activities, goes to enhance and supplement library collections and services beyond what is provided through public appropriation.

Friends of the Irmo Library is a tax-exempt charitable organization and all contrbutions are tax deductible.

The Friends meet every 4th Thursday of the month (except June, July, November and December) at noon in the Library.
