The Friends of the Hastings Public Library was formed in 1958. Its purpose has always been to promote and encourage the enhancement of library services and facilities for the benefit of its patrons. A registered 501(c)3, the Friends raise monies through an annual membership appeal, proceeds from the sale of used books, and many other fundraising activities.
