About Us :
The Friends of the Fox River Grove Memorial Library is a non-profit organization of community members who strive to foster the greater realization of the importance of the Library to the district. Originally established in 1996, the Friends have played an instrumental role in making the library a central part of the Fox River Grove community. The Friends have helped to pass a referendum to finance the library's new home and their "Buy-A-Shelf" campaign raised over $24,000 to help in that endeavor.
The Friends host several fund-raising events each year such as a Book Sale and Garage Sale. They also sponsor a "Young Author's Project" with a celebration party for participants, parents and judges, "Movies at the Library," and programs throughout the year, including Summer Reading.
