The Friends of the Bend Library
is a non-profit organization which supports, enhances, and promotes the
Bend Branch of the Deschutes Public Library District.
About The Library :
The
Friends of the Bend Library is a non-profit organization committed to
the belief that a strong library is a cultural and economic benefit to
the Bend community.
The Friends have historically financed improvements
in the library facility and substantially Our purpose is to encourage
public awareness of the library and offer financial support for it's
operation and services, contributed to the building of the present
library building and to the passage of the bond levy, which supports
the library operation.
