About Us

The Fayetteville Center Library, a Motlow Library branch, houses a variety of traditional and electronic resources to serve the needs of students and community users. To see a map of Fayetteville, and a brief history of the Fayetteville Center campus, click here.

Our branch collection contains about 3,500 volumes. One-third of the collection is reference books. The circulating collection, of over 2,500 volumes, serves the curricular and personal needs of our students and faculty. Our courier and delivery system brings library materials from our library branches in Moore County, Fayetteville, McMinnville, and Smyrna. These shared collections give students access to over 55,000 print resources. In addition, students and faculty may request videos, and periodical and reference articles.

The whole Motlow collection of books, videos, audio cassettes, pamphlet files, and periodicals are indexed on our online catalog. The catalog is accessible over the Internet and on PC's in all branch libraries. Electronic databases are available online that index hundreds of periodicals and journals, which provides full-text articles.
