Mission:

The Mission of the Falmouth Memorial Library is to enrich the community by providing resources and services that foster a love of reading and inspire imagination, curiosity, and an open exchange of ideas and information.

History:

Falmouth Memorial Library is located at 5 Lunt Road in Falmouth, Maine.  The Library first consisted of the original part of the building – the Iverson home – which Falmouth Memorial Library Association purchased in 1951.  The Library opened in 1952 to honor all Falmouth veterans.

The Falmouth Memorial Library is a 501 (c) (3) organization supported by the Town of Falmouth, an annual fund drive, gifts, Friends, and volunteers.

About Us:

The library offers a wide variety of awesome services. We have books, DVD's, music CD's, audio books and magazines available. There is free Internet use and Wi-Fi. We also offer downloadable audio books and eBooks and access to an amazing collection of on-line databases. If there is something you want that we don't have, we can probably borrow it for you through our super-efficient interlibrary loan and delivery service.

Other cool and FREE services include, but are not limited to, Adult and Children's reference services and suggestions of what to read next for adults, teens, and children. The library also offers story times and book discussion gropus, author visits, book sales, and much more. During the summer we offer reading programs for both adults and children.
