Fairview Free Public Library

The Fairview Library may be small but we never let our size get in the way of service.

Our beautiful new building has over 23,000 items...from books straight off the New York Times Best Seller List to award winning children's books, CD's, books on tape, and hot new videos and DVDs for everybody.

What we lack in size, we make up for with professionalism. Combine all this with small-town warmth, cutting edge technology, and a staff dedicated to serving the community and you've got the Fairview Free Public Library - your library and the heart of our community.

We have 23,000 items in Fairview but we're a member of the Bergen County Cooperative Library System (BCCLS), and that means you have access to the 5,000,000 items available at all the libraries of BCCLS.

With your Fairview card, you may borrow books from any BCCLS member library in person or by e-mail, renew materials at any library in person, by telephone or on-line, and return them to any BCCLS library.

If we don't have what you want, the staff will search throughout the system and have the material delivered to Fairview. If the material is not available within BCCLS, other resources will be explored to satisfy your request. And all this costs the community just 5 cents per person per day.

Make the Fairview Library your first stop on the information superhighway! And make us your first stop for great books. Open our doors to a world of opportunities.
