The Duval County-San Diego Public Library a current member in the Texas State Library System and is located in San Diego, Texas at the Historical Hoffman Building, 315 S. Dr. Dunlap Street. The main library is open Monday-Thursday 3:00 - 8:00pm; Friday 3:00 - 6:00pm and Saturday 10:00am - 5:00pm.

 The Duval County Public Library Branch sites are located in Benavides and Freer, Texas.

The Benavides Library Branch site is at 131 Mesquite Street; Benavides, Texas.
Hours: 4:00-8:00pm Monday-Thursday; Saturday 10:00am - 2:00pm.

Computers are available at each site with Internet connectivity. Texas residents can obtain a new library card by filling out a library application and should have a Texas Driver's License or a Texas I. D. (Department of Public Safety - DPS). The new card is Free and replacement cards $1.00.
