Mission statement
Drake Public Library includes materials and services to assist community residents in obtaining information that can improve minds, broaden lives and fulfill cultural, civic, intellectual, educational and recreational needs. Residents include people of all ages, from toddlers to senior citizens. Fiction, nonfiction, popular materials, selected reference books, periodicals, computers and a variety of audiovisual resources and equipment are the mainstay of library holdings. The library serves as a learning/educational center for all residents.
