Mission

The Dike Public Library was established for the purpose of providing the residents of the community and the surrounding area access to books and other resources and services for education, information, and recreation. The board recognizes that the library must furnish background and current books, as well as, other materials to supply these needs. It is our purpose to provide backup services for students, as well as other persons, with the materials that are in our collection and through the interlibrary loan services available to us through SILO (State of Iowa Online), and by use of the Internet.
