Del Paso Heights Library

About Us:

Del Paso Heights Library was established in 1913, and its current location was built in 1972. This library has a collection of over 32,000 items; including a large collection of audio-books, videos, music cds and educational software cd-roms. There is also an excellent African-American culture collection in both fiction and non-fiction. In order to better meet the needs of an ethnically diverse community, the library also has collections of materials in Spanish, Russian, and Vietnamese.

The Del Paso Heights Library offers friendly, professional service in a comfortable and safe atmosphere. This facility has a nice community room with a kitchen, available for public use. With seven public Internet computers, four of which are Gates Foundation computers with additional software, Del Paso Heights Library is an ideal place for doing word-processing, homework, or research.

The addition of a Community Learning Center to the library greatly enhances the services provided to this neighborhood. The Learning Center will feature after-school homework assistance for elementary school students, college & career resources for high school students, adult and family literacy activities, and computer training for seniors.
