The new Headquarters of the Davis County Library opened in October of 2012. The Library is attached to Davis County's new Administration building. The Headquarters Library consists of approximately 20,000 square feet, including book collections, an auditorium, a quiet study room, a small conference room, a staff conference room, and public seating. The Library offers wireless Internet access, 10 adult Internet stations, 2 children's Internet stations, and a PC which handles the scanning, viewing, and printing of microfilm.
The Davis County Library system's administration and technical services department, which receives and processes books, are centered in the Headquarters Library. Headquarters Library houses approximately 77,000 items. Among these are books held in the "Locked Case" collection, which includes titles of Davis County and Utah interest.
