The Chesterfield County Public Library system has ten locations across the county.

Libraries are open 6 days a week – closed on Sundays. (Monday-Thursday 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and Friday-Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.)

Cards are free to residents of Chesterfield and the surrounding counties/cities of: Amelia, Charles City, Colonial Heights, Dinwiddie, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, Hope

well, King and Queen, King William, New Kent, Petersburg, Powhatan, Prince George and Richmond.
