I recently heard an older man (patron) ask one of the two library workers behind the front counter if they could help him get into his email at the express computer (which is right by the front counter), and the male library worker said they cannot, that it's against library policy. If this is so, I think it's ridiculous. There was no one at the front counter (it was a slow time) and there were two workers behind the counter. They had time to help him, but didn't. Another library patron overheard this and volunteered to help the man, but I think it's pathetic that one of the two male workers behind the counter wouldn't do so, even though they had time. I also noticed these male workers didn't wear name badges. I think it should be library policy that they have to, so if someone wants to make a complaint about them, they will know their name.
