The mission of the Carteret Free Public Library is to enhance the quality of life for all residents of our community. We provide materials and programs that encourage personal growth, stimulate the intellect and entertain, all for a greater sense of well-being and a fruitful life. We particularly strive to instill in Carteret's children a joy of reading that will last a lifetime.
