The Brighton Memorial Public Library is located at 110 North Main Street in Brighton, Illinois. The Brighton Memorial Public Library provides free services to all residents living within the Brighton city limits, with services available to others within the Southwestern Community Unit School District #9, for an annual fee of $28.50 per family.
The mission of the Brighton Memorial Public Library is to serve the informational, cultural, and recreational needs of all of Brighton's residents regardless of age or educational background. It is our goal to provide programs for patrons of all ages, encouraging reading of printed and other materials which will contribute to the dissemination of knowledge, to formal education, and to informal self-education, to the profitable and pleasurable use of leisure time, and to the general enrichment of life.
