Brandywine Hundred Library

1300 Foulk Road

Brandywine Hundred Library is a 40,000 square foot facility nestled in Talley Day Park. The library grew out of the need to replace the small and aging Concord Pike Library, which had opened in 1959 as the New Castle County Free Library headquarters. Brandywine Hundred Library opened its doors in April of 2003, designated as the regional library for the northern New Castle County area.

We have more than 150,000 items available for loan including audio, video, magazines, electronic sources, and - of course - books. Library programs are available for all ages and interests. In addition to materials and programs, the library has study rooms and meeting spaces for nonprofit community groups.
