Mission:
It is the mission of the Bradford County Library to select, acquire, organize, and preserve books and other materials of contemporary interest and permanent value for the education, enjoyment, and intellectual stimulation of the entire community. Programs will be developed to stimulate citizen’s interests and appreciation for reading and learning.
The Bradford County Library is also to provide additional service to member libraries of the Bradford County Library System in the form of special collections and supplemental library materials.
The Bradford County Library endorses the Library Bill of Rights and the Freedom to Read Statement, both adopted by the American Library Association (ALA) Council.
About Us:
The Bradford County Library is the headquarters for a nine member Bradford County Library System. It is part of the North Central Library District and is a member of Access Pennsylvania. The library is located on Route 6 in West Burlington Township at mile marker 261. We have been serving our patrons in Bradford County since 1941.
