Branch History
In the early 1960s, a group of concerned citizens, led by the Montgomery Woman’s Club, petitioned library administrators to provide a branch for Blue Ash. The Sycamore Branch Library opened in June of 1964 in the central business district of Blue Ash. In 1986, the building was closed for renovation and expansion. During this period, the branch operated out of a temporary storefront location. The Sycamore Branch reopened on September 27, 1987 as a completely redesigned facility. It was renamed the Blue Ash Branch Library in January 2001.
