Mission Statement:
The Bentonville Public Library's mission is to promote the development of literate and independent citizens through open access to diverse cultural, intellectual, and informational sources.
Role of the Library:
The Library shall actively provide timely, accurate, and useful information; support individuals of all ages pursuing a program of independent learning; provide current, high demand, high interest materials and information in a variety of formats for persons of all ages; serve as an access point for information and materials held by other libraries; and become a central focus point for community activities, meetings and services.
Library Goal for Public Services:
The Library's goal for public services shall be to develop and implement, through continuous evaluation and adaptation, a program of Library services which effectively meets the informational, educational and recreational needs of residents of the City of Bentonville.
