About Us:
The Basile Branch of the Evangeline Parish Library is the oldest of the five branches in existence, having opened in October, 1948. Past Branch Managers were: Mrs. Charles Bollick, who served from its opening until 1955; Ms. Margery Savoy, from February 1955 until her retirement in 1987; Ms. Jackie Langley served as Branch Manager until 1990.
Basile's current Branch Manager is Ms. Sherry Bergeron, who has held the position since 1990. Her part-time assistants are Rebecca Leger and Lisa Ortego.
