The Barrington Public Library District strives to:

The Barrington Public Library District serves 44,157 residents of all or part of Algonquin, Barrington, Barrington Hills, Deer Park, Fox River Grove, Hoffman Estates, Kildeer, Lake Barrington, Lake Zurich, North Barrington, Palatine, Port Barrington, South Barrington, Tower Lakes, and some unincorporated areas. It covers a 72-square-mile area, making it the largest library district in Illinois, geographically speaking.

Come and browse for books, movies, and magazines, download e-books, audiobooks, music and magazines on our 24/7 Web site, play and learn in our Youth Services department, hear live music, view an art exhibit - we have so much to offer our community. Great place to spend time on weekend with kid. Very nicely remodeled, kid section has everything kid can dream about (including even slides).
