Mission

The Augusta Public Library, a tax-supported institution, is a service-oriented facility striving to accommodate the informational, recreational, and educational needs of patrons in Augusta and surrounding areas. The library shall actively encourage the use of its resources by patrons of all ages and backgrounds.

Great place! Great staff. They are always thinking of unique ways to involve the community!! Great selection of books and DVDs. Interlibrary loan is an option that can basically get you any book or film you can imagine.

I love my Augusta Public Library-it has all the murder mysteries I could ever read by prominent authors; it has the New York Times Best Sellers; and it has activities planned:)
