Mission :

Our mission is to provide the residents of the Augusta County area with materials and services to meet their educational and recreational needs. Additionally, the library recognizes its important role as a valuable source of reference and community information and as a community activities center. We place special emphasis on providing services to children.

About Us:

The Fishersville Library is the main location of the Augusta County Library system. It also plays host to the Augusta County Genealogical Society, which provides a volunteer-run collection of local and family histories for public use. Please visit their site for more information about hours and research assistance.

For your convenience, an exterior, drive-up book drop is located at the end of the library as you proceed through the one-way drive. You can return items any time of day, even if the library is closed.

My children love it, especially how they have separated sections for teens, toddlers and adults. It's very convenient and always something to do

Literary lifesaver for a guy who lives on the road. I try to make it in there whenever I return to my operations base.
