watch out for books, comics, etc. depicting alternative lifestyles. Seems to have a very liberal (not in the classical sense, but rather a tumblrina minded (imo)) librarian. Also, parents here aren't 'allowed' to look at their children's checkouts and history w/out their (kids) permission or w/out possession of kids' library if kids have any rights that parents can't suppercede...

This is an excellent library. It's beautiful inside and out, very cozy, and a great place for kids to play! The staff is always helpful and friendly.

I lived in Bennett from age 6 to age 20. I've used the library before and after they reconstructed the building. Honestly, the library that was there before this new building had a WAY better set-up... They have forsaken the amount of books for visual effect and group rooms. Over 1/2 of the building is just meeting rooms that are usually completely taken up. There is no place you can be alone and not a whole lot of seating. The way books are shelved makes it very difficult to find things. Very few computers, thank goodness I have a laptop. And the kids that are usually at the 3/4 of the computers playing video games for hours can get pretty noisy. Although the building is beautiful and the interior is very pretty... they have given up a LOT of possible space that could be dedicated to books and seating. I kinda wish they hadn't of remade the building at all. It's a waste of public money and space. If it wasn't for the sweet librarians that work there and the descent website, I would've rated this as "I hate it". : /
