This library is so kid friendly, especially Jennifer, whom does Story Time and crafts with the kids, she is helpful, and a joy to talk with, she's very knowledgeable about children's growth, which makes Storytime a blast! She gets 5 stars!!! However, the lady named Ms. Pyles is so rude, never helpful, and treats patrons so disrespectful. She makes sure that you know you are an inconvenience, she barely looks up to smile or greet, and l do not appreciate her making a negative comment when I turned to walk away from counter. She has the worst customer service l have seen! I bring my granddaughter to teach her about checking in and out books, but last few times here, she actually reprimanded me for trying to get help! Unbelievable! I will be contacting the Board President to let her know that if she doesn't want an employee to help patrons, then put her in the basement! Because no one should act like this with patrons!

This library is quiet and generally nice to visit. Some of the staff are impolite so that's why they received four stars.

After a couple years i can say... Hit and miss service. Some sigh and act like any question is a disruption and stupid. This actually is a huge factor for me struggling with mental health issues. However a couple are just wonderful, unfailingly nice and polite when i have spoken to them. Or they are simply good enough workers to just be awesome by occassionally smiling. For a small library there is a decent selection especially on new books. Probably perfect for the romance readers. Kids section is great and childrens librarian is helpful! I love the coloring pages available for all ages. And by the YA section there are changing end boards with questions or I recall a create a black-out poem from a book page provided. The friends of the library host some good events for different age groups. The teens are the luckiest though! They get interesting and new events, even their summer reading bingo card is better. Kids events are frequent and good. Batman and Wonder Woman visited last year! Adult events are least common, although i have a feeling adults send more money into the friends group.
