The American Canyon Library opened August 14, 2012 in the newly remodeled Crawford Building, a location used previously as the American Canyon City Hall. PreviousIy the community had been served by a leased storefront location and prior to that the Napa County bookmobile. ts resources include:

- 2 catalog-only computers
- wireless access
- printers (10 cents/page b/w and 50 cents/page color)
- copier (10 cents/page b/w and 50 cents/page color)
- more than 50 magazines for all ages
- subscriptions to area newspapers
- a copy machine (10 cents/page)
- a self-check machine
- storytimes for children
- a Grandparents and Books session
- Bow Wow for Books
- a collection that includes books, DVDs, music CDs, books on tape, and books on CD
- a reference collection
- a great staff to help you find what you want!
